Bandit Made Sunglasses Like an Art Object

The New York run brand's first co-designed eyewear, built with a design house instead of an optics factory.

Bandit announced its first ever co-designed eyewear collaboration on June 3, 2026, a summer capsule made with the design house Research Studio. Not a licensed frame with a logo stamped on the temple. A co-design.

That distinction is the whole point. Run shades have spent a decade chasing aero and losing the plot: wraparound shields engineered for a wind tunnel nobody outside the pro peloton will ever enter. Handing the pencil to a studio that thinks about objects first is how you get a pair you would still wear at the coffee stop after.

Summer capsule, which means it is already the thing you should have bought in June. Consider this your reminder for next year, or your excuse to check what is left.
