Performers and crew have built a whole run club scene between shows, and almost nobody outside the theatre district knows.

There is a run club scene on Broadway. Performers and crew members fitting group runs and race training around eight shows a week, which is its own kind of scheduling violence.
The constraint is the good part: you cannot wreck your legs, because you have to be on stage tonight. Every mile is negotiated against a curtain.
Outside reported it out. Almost nobody outside the theatre district had noticed.
