The Swedish Studio That Killed the Bounce
Kilometer Studios, the B Corp formerly known as IAMRUNBOX, makes packs for people who run to work. Believe in the Run just called them its new favorites.
The pitch is "turning commuters into athletes," and the hardware backs it up. The 14 liter Backpack Pro ($235, or $295 as the Ultimate Kit) carries a 16 inch laptop with a waist belt and load lifters, and Believe in the Run says it "may be the most no-bounce pack I've ever tried."
The rest of the line reads like a Scandinavian hardware catalogue: a 425 gram Trail Pack ($225) with a foam-lined laptop sleeve and bungee fit, a fully waterproof 30 liter Pannier Rolltop ($410) in 900D recycled polyester with heat-welded seams, and the Spin Bag ($215) in 18 or 30 liters. A modular S-clip system adds shoe bags, hip belts, packing cubes and a runner's wallet. A bag you can sprint in, made in a country that takes rain seriously.
