Li Shuangyong, 41, ran a marathon every single day for 372 days: a full year, then one more week for good measure, threaded through more than 300 Chinese cities. On Sunday, Guinness made it official.

372 days. 372 marathons. More than 300 cities. Zero rest days.

The wildest part is that the record is apparently just a checkpoint. He is already aiming for 520. Somewhere in China this morning a man in his forties is lacing up for yet another 42.2, and suddenly your long run feels very negotiable.
