Three patent leather Air Jordan 14 mules walked SS27 in London: black, dark red, dark blue.
Mowalola's SS27 collection, "The Hunger", went back to her core codes: autonomy, sensuality, self liberation. Second skin silhouettes, skin-tonal palettes, snakeskin and suede and glitter coated canvas. The womenswear read desire as power. The menswear leaned into surrender.
The footwear is the part that will outlive the show. Three new patent leather Air Jordan 14 mule colorways, in black, dark red and dark blue, continuing the Jordan Brand partnership: a backless racing-car sneaker, polished to a gloss, worn down a runway.
The show closed on a gown made from shattered plastic plates, in collaboration with To Genesis.
