Song for the Mute Scribbled on a Race Shoe
The Australian label took adidas' lightest racer and drew all over it in grey on grey.

The Adizero EVO SL is a stripped, lightweight racer. Song for the Mute made it quieter still: a tonal grey mesh base, Dove Grey over Grey Two over Grey Six, nothing shouting from ten feet away.
Then come the hand-drawn graphics and the text details, scratched across the upper like margin notes on a shoe that was never meant to have any. The silhouette stays fast. The finish goes strange.
Out now at adidas, $180, SKU KJ0774. Via Hypebeast.
