For six years the Adizero Adios Pro has been a shoe with bones. Five carbon rods, laid into the foam since 2020, doing the snapping. Adidas just took them out.
The Adios Pro 5 landed Tuesday at $275, averaging 177 grams, with a carbon ring wrapped around the midsole in place of the rods. One continuous loop instead of five fingers. It goes on sale the same week the fastest course in the world reopens for business.
